Obituary of Edison L.A. Crumley

Mr. Edison L.A. Crumley, 89 a resident of Lake Alfred passed away Fri. July 17, 2020. Mr. Crumley was born Sept. 7, 1930 in Heflin, Alabama to William Jesse and Josie Priscilla (McElroy) Crumley. L.A. was a resident of Lake Alfred for 72 years, this is also where he lived in the same house for 56 years with his late wife, Connie. He was a retired Millwright for Continental Can Company in Auburndale and Winter Garden. L.A. was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lake Alfred and was a member of the Lake Alfred Lions Club. He enjoyed making birdhouses, woodworking, showing his grandchildren how all the tools work what they are used for and teaching them about the Lord.  He loved to spend time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 65 years – Connie Fay Willis Crumley; son-in-law – Lucius Addison Davis; 9 brothers & 2 sisters. L.A. is survived by his loving family; 3 daughters – Sharon “Cheri” Davis of Sarasota, Susie Ray and her husband Terry of Auburndale and Lisa Gallo and her husband Joey of Lake Alfred; 7 grandchildren – Eric (Kortnee) Davis, Destiny (Kyle) Davis, Dalton (Marissa) Davis, Melissa (Dustin) Hammond, Amber (Aaron) Weiand, Joseph Gallo, IV. and Hope Gallo; 8 gt. grandchildren – Kalliope Fay, Maximus, Jaxon, Brayden, Addison, Kadence, Koraline & Savanna. Graveside service were held at Auburndale Memorial Park.
