Obituary of Dulcie Maxine Hardy-Stampe

Dulcie Maxine Hardy Stampe passed away on 6/3/20.  She was 92 years old.  She was born May 7, 1928 to Walter and Stella McGlothlin of Harrodsburg, Indiana.

Dulcie was a godly woman who loved to sing, cook, sew and write songs.  She made the best pies and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  The weather was her favorite hobby and she always knew the forecast on any given day.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Hardy of Bloomington, Indiana whom she was married to for 53 years before his passing on September 11, 2000.

She married Robert Stampe who preceded her in death on October 18, 2006.

Dulcie and Fred Hardy had one daughter, Linda Taylor (John) of Auburndale, FL.

Dulcie had three sisters and three brothers who all preceded her in death. Rufus McGlothlin, Herschel McGlothlin, Wyatt McGlothlin, Wilma Southern, Lula Crum and Kathryn Day.

Dulcie had four grandchildren Rusty Bruce (Deedee) of Tampa FL, Shellie Mathews (Wesley) of Auburndale FL, Lisa Newberry (Robbie) of Winter Haven, FL and Joe Taylor (Fawn) of Lakeland, FL.  She had 9 great grandchildren, Michael, Jason, Morgan, Meagan, Amber, Lizzie, Reed, Rylan and Ashlyn.  She had 5 great great grandchildren, Brayden, Grayson, Kaylee, Dylan and Zane.

She is also survived by other relatives in Bloomington, Indiana. 

Only Graveside services will be held at the Auburndale Memorial Park Cemetery on Monday June 8, 2020 at 2:00 pm.
