Obituary of Evelyn Morris Lineberger

Mrs. Evelyn Morris Lineberger, age 92 a resident of Winter Haven passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Winter Haven Hospital with her family. Mrs. Lineberger was born April 28, 1927 in Vidalia, Georgia to Robert and Patricia (Byrd) Morris. She was a Polk County resident for over 80 years, a homemaker and attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church in her earlier years. Evelyn enjoyed reading, dancing, basketball, fast cars when she was younger and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter – Vivian and 12 brothers & sisters. Evelyn is survived by her loving & devoted family; 2 Sons: David Dease of Bowling Green, FL., Jeffery Dease of Arcadia, FL.; 4 Daughters: Joyce Williams of Winter Haven, FL., Susan (Herbert) Metzgar of Brandon, FL., Joan Givens of Winter Haven, FL. and Nona Wiedel (Bobby) Parnell of Polk City, FL.; Several Nieces, Nephews & Cousins; 8 Grandchildren: Casey, Tyler, Amber, Ted, Clint, Amanda, Shelby & Dana; 12 Great Grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Mrs. Lineberger’s name to; The American Heart Association (National Center) P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX. 75284-0692. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday, February 15th at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
