Obituary of Donald Edward Walsh

Mr. Donald Edward Walsh, age 92 a resident of Auburndale passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Oak Haven Rehab & Nursing Center in Auburndale. Mr. Walsh was born September 23, 1927 in Bonifay, Florida to Homer Bryon and Minnie Emma (Vickers) Walsh. He was an Auburndale resident since 1958 coming from Bonifay. Donald was a United States Army Veteran serving in Fort Campbell, Kentucky in the tank division. He was a retired foreman for the Union Camp Corp. which manufactured corrugated boxes. He attended First Free Will Baptist Church in Auburndale and was a member of Dixie Highway Baptist Church in Lakeland. He enjoyed fishing, softball and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife – Helen C. Walsh; sister – Geraldine and brother – Charles. Donald is survived by 2 sons – Ricky Walsh of Auburndale and Randy Walsh of Kissimmee; 1 brother – Venice Walsh of Havana, FL. Graveside service will be held 11:00 am Friday, December 20^th at Auburndale Memorial Park, 1889 West Derby Avenue, Auburndale, FL. 33823.
