I knew Eddie in high school and remember him as a friend and classmate. We were not close friends but even at that young age he stood out as spmeome with true character. May God bless the Turvin family during their time of loss.

Eddie was one of the first friends I made when we moved from Iowa to the small Auburndale neighborhood off Dairy Rd in 1959. He always made me feel welcome! I graduated with Eddie in 1967 and joined the Army on the same day he did on August 7th, 1967. Both of us headed to Fort Benning, GA for basic training. Eddie lived next to my Mom and Dad for a time in their declining years and looked after them like a son. Eddie was as good as they get!

Sorry to hear about Eddie's passing. We where childhood neighbor's and HS classmates and remember all the fun stuff we did as kids. May Debbie and the family have peace knowing that he is with our Lord. May God Bless you Eddie, RIP
