Obituary of Denver Harry Kemp

Mr. Denver Harry Kemp, age 76 a resident of Winter Haven passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at his home with family. Mr. Kemp was born April 3, 1942 in Ridgley, Tennessee to James Thomas and Lorene (Thomas) Kemp. He was a longtime Polk County resident and attended Winter Haven Church of God. Denver was a retired truck driver and the owner/operator of his own lawn service. He enjoyed spending time with his wife at their home in Murphy, NC. Denver loved fishing, traveling and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter – Amanda; grandson – Eli; infant brother and son-in-law, Lawrence Yarbrough. Denver is survived by his loving family, Wife of 24 yrs: Sally Kemp of Winter Haven, 3 Sons: Ken Kemp of Mulberry,     Donald Kemp of Alabama, Jeremy Kemp of Florida, Daughter: Cindy Yarbrough of Jacksonville, 6 Grandchildren:  Ashley, Cory, Carrie, Ian, Sully & Colby,,1 Gt. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Monday, August 27th at the Winter Haven Church of God, 675 Avenue E S.W. Visitation will begin at 12:30 pm.
