Obituary of Clayton Holloway Spivey Sr.

Clayton Holloway Spivey Sr., age 91, passed away on April 25, 2018 at home with family by his side.  He was born July 26, 1926 in Florida to Joseph & Minnie Spivey.  Clayton was a resident of Auburndale, Florida most of his life.  He was married to Daryl Lynn Spivey for almost 64 years.  Clayton was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Auburndale.  He served as a trustee and church clerk for many years at the church.  He was a volunteer fireman and served on the Auburndale city council.  Clayton served in the Army of the United States during World War II in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater as a Staff Sergeant.  He is preceded in death by: Daughter: Sandra Spivey Vanderveen, Parents, Brothers, and Sisters.  He is survived by; his Wife: Daryl Lynn, Son: Clayton Spivey, Jr. (Martha) of Graham, NC, Daughter: Holly Buxman of Auburndale, FL. 8 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren.
