Obituary of Robert Rairie

Mr. Robert "Bob" Rairie, age 84 a resident of Auburndale passed away Sat. Nov. 18, 2017 in Winter Haven. Mr. Rairie was born Feb. 23, 1933 in Smicksburg, PA. to Robert and Freda (Nolf) Rairie. He was an Auburndale resident since 1988 coming from PA. Bob was a retired letter carrier for the US Post Office and a United States Navy Veteran serving during Vietnam & the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Auburndale, where he was a Deacon, Elder and a volunteer for the building & grounds committee. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Assoc. Magazine. Bob enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents and son - David John Rairie in 2009. Bob is survived by his loving family; Wife of 62 years: Fern Rairie of Auburndale, FL. Son: Mark Robert (Carol) Rairie of South Hampton, PA. Daughter: Susan Marie (Kevin) Mack of Ocean City, NJ Brother: Dennis Rairie of Corning, NY Sister: Darlene Rairie Thomas of Stillwater, PA. 4 Grandchildren: Robert John Rairie of South Hampton, PA. Sara Marie (Matt) Baxter of Wilmington, DE. Kristen (Sean) Barto of South Hampton, PA. Adrienne Winner of South Hampton, PA.
