Obituary of Howard Glenn

Mr. Howard "Dwight" Glenn, age 70 a resident of Auburndale passed away Thurs. Dec. 7, 2017 at his home with family. Mr. Glenn was born Jan. 9, 1947 in Lakeland, FL. to Howard Jesse and Mary Lucy (Phelps) Glenn. He was a lifetime Polk Co. resident and a United States Air Force Veteran serving during Vietnam, where he was a C130 plane mechanic. Dwight worked for the Auburndale Fire Dept. for 27 yrs., and then retired. He also had an Auto Mechanic Shop and was a member of Lena Vista Baptist Church in Auburndale. Dwight enjoyed hunting, fishing, clogging, football (FSU), NASCAR and going to the mountains and beach with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
