Obituary of Howard Andrew Jessop

WINTER HAVEN - Howard Andrew Jessop, age 92, passed away in Winter Haven, Florida on January 12, 2018. He was born on January 18, 1925 in Holyoke, Massachusetts to Herbert and Eva Jessop. He was a Polk County resident for 62 years, veteran serving in the Coast Guard and was a member of the American Legion Post 8 of Winter Haven. Howard was a food inspector for 30 years working for the United States Department of Agriculture. He is preceded in death by: his parents and brother: George Jessop. Howard is survived by: Daughters: Karen Wampler of Winter Haven, FL, Bernice (Bob) Wright of Henrico, VA and Sandy (Tom) Miranda of Englewood, FL. Grandchildren: Beth Rhamy, Trey Wampler and Tyler Wampler. Great-Grandchildren: Julia Rhamy, Jackson Rhamy and Austin Wampler.
