Obituary of Billy J.

Mr. Billy Jones Guy, age 74, a resident of Auburndale, Florida passed away Friday, January 16, 2009 at his residence due to Heart Failure. Mr. Guy was born February 1, 1934 in Jackson County, Florida to Mance M. and Carrie B. (Granger) Guy. He was a resident of Auburndale since 1945 coming from Cottonwood, Alabama. He was a retired Truck Driver for the McKee Baking Company, a Member of the Heaven Bound Freewill Baptist Church in Lakeland and he was a United States Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents: 1st Wife - Katie Guy; son - Dennis Gordon Guy, Granddaughter - Misty; 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Mr. Guy is survived by his loving family; Wife of 8 years, Nell Guy of Auburndale, FL; 2 sons: Billy Dale (Shelia) Guy of Auburndale, FL; Donnie Byron (Cheryl) Guy of Auburndale, FL; 11 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the Kersey Funeral Home with interment to follow at Auburndale Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Monday, January 19, 2009 from 6:00PM til 8:00PM at the funeral home.
