Obituary of Sandra Barnard

AUBURNDALE - Sandra Freemon Barnard, age 51 of Auburndale passed away Saturday, January 31, 2009 Good Shepherd Hospice Residential Center from complications caused by a stroke. Sandra was born in Winter Haven, Florida on March 10, 1957 to the parents of Leslie A. & Sylvia Gail (Evans) Freemon. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a substance abuse family counselor for Gulf Coast Jewish Family Services. She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, Thomas D. Freemon. She is survived by her father: a daughter, Cindy M. Dean of Auburndale; 2 sons: L. Joe Sanford and Lance A. Sanford and his wife Heather Lynne all of Auburndale; 6 grandchildren: Decoven, Saige, Dylin, Shelby, Micah and Damian: 12 step-grandchildren; a sister, Linda Mefford of Lakeland: Best Friend, Elecia Boswell. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 11:00AM, Kersey Funeral Home, 108 East Lake Stella Drive. Auburndale, Florida. Registration will be from 10:00AM until time of services.
