Obituary of Vernis Aileen Elberts

Mrs. Vernis Aileen Elberts, age 87 a resident of Haines City, Florida passed away Monday, February 26, 2018 at Good Shepherd Hospice Residential Center in Auburndale. Mrs. Elberts was born June 16, 1930 in Kankakee, Illinois to James Lester and Edna Mae (Gleen) Larsen. She was a homemaker and attended the First Christian Church in Haines City. Vernis was a winter resident for the past 4 years and a past member of the Moose Lodge. She enjoyed going to the beach and being with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband - Delrey Elberts; 3 brothers - Harold, Bobby & Willie. Vernis is survived by her loving family; 2 Daughters: Louann Holmes and husband Tip Christine Jensen 2 Sisters: Shirley Wetmore and husband Norman Joan Hebert and husband Mark 3 Grandchildren: Eva, Ricky & Nikki 8 Great Grandchildren: Hailey, Alissa, Ashton, Cole, Katie, T.Y., Makyla & Ashlyn 1 Great Great Grandson: Casen There are no services scheduled for Mrs. Elberts.
